Hoop Class Info : NEXT CLASS SERIES BEGINS WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH.
Beginners Hoopdance: Hooping 101
No experience necessary! This class is taught as a module where each week new hoop moves build upon the next. It is specifically designed to take students through the basics of Hooping. Whether you are brand new to the hoop, or are repeating the series to ensure better muscle memory, this class covers the building blocks of Hoopdance. Beginners Hoopdance allows the student to explore the hoop through movement, dance and body awareness. In each class a new move is covered and uses a wide range of body parts for the hooper to explore.
A new series starts every 8 weeks.
Next series begins Wednesday, September 8th, 2010. Class times are 6-7:30pm.
All 8 sessions = $120 ($15 per class)

About Hoopdance
Hoopdance classes are led by Melanie MacNeil aka 'melmacpink'. Melanie was Certified as a Hoopdance Fitness Instructor in July 2007 by 'Hoopgirl' aka Cristabel Zamor founder of www.hoopgirl.com. Melanie brings a sense of fun and grace to her Hoopdance classes. She is the founder and mastermind of AshevilleHoops.com and is excited to bring Hoopdance classes, workshops and performances to Western North Carolina. With a background in Yoga, Mental Health, Fire Dancing and the Movement Arts, her classes are sure to include a physical, emotional, and spiritual workout! Come prepared to connect to your 'Self', let go of stress and find the flow and grace in your body!
